Promoting Saxony, Germany as a travel destination

We conducted a nationwide digital campaign promoting Saxony on the Polish market. Our responsibilities included strategy, design, production, and audience engagement throughout the online and offline channels. We are running the official „Weekend in Saxony" fan page, we have developed a number of dedicated landing pages and run contests, as well as worked with blog influencers. Connecting offline and online worlds - mailing thousands of high-quality printed catalogs to travel fans all over the country is also one of our tasks​. Oh, and one more thing - we deliver great results!

We were lucky to get the commission from TMGS Saxony and start a promotional campaign aimed at getting Polish tourists well acquainted ​with Saxony’s potential.

Not only is the region abundant in different kinds of cultural and landscape attractions (there is something for everyone!), but it is also located within hand’s reach, right across the Polish border! A great destination for an extended weekend or a vacation trip. What makes it even more appealing is that the region caters both to singles, as well as families with children. The unique and romantic atmosphere of Saxonian cities also favors those in love and people who would like to feel a prickle of excitement. Saxony is a global collage combining Caspar David Friedrich's paintings and the modernity of Wes Anderson's films.

Our fans were crazy about offline packages which consisted of maps, catalogs, and more!

We focused on an omnichannel campaign with the main "Saxony on Weekend" website as a base of our strategy. At the same time, we conducted increased actions in social media (Facebook, AdWords, and Instagram media boost). One of the aspects of the campaign was assembling traffic on the page with a form for shipping Saxony’s free travel packages with the most attractive tourist advice. During this campaign, we mailed 2383 boxes.

Throughout the year some of our Facebook posts met a higher interest from our fans. More than 41000 activities were generated by them in 2016.

As a part of our promotional activities, we run an official fan page „Weekend in Saxony”, where we present the highlights of Saxony’s appeal and beauty. In the nearest future, we are going to run a few nationwide digital campaigns. Exciting prizes await the winners of our contests including a stay in a hotel. So it’s worth it to be up to date!​
